Rescuing Forgotten Donkeys, Mules, and Hinnies

The mission of our sanctuary is to protect and nurture donkeys, mules, and hinnies at risk of neglect, abuse, abandonment, and death through programs of rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming. We are dedicated to improving their environment, nutrition, behavior, and health while raising awareness of the catastrophic global donkey skin trade crisis that threatens millions of donkeys worldwide and jeopardizes the livelihoods and well-being of the communities that depend on them. Through education, advocacy, and compassionate care, we promote the humane treatment of donkeys, mules, and hinnies and work toward a future where every animal is valued, protected, and allowed to live a safe, healthy, pain-free, and dignified life.
